Kohl’s unveils Black Friday plans: Here’s when customers can expect deals

Kohl's is the latest in a spate of retailers announcing their early Black Friday deals ahead of the holiday season.
The Wisconsin-based retailer announced its upcoming deals Friday and unveiled a preview of the company's Black Friday flyer.
The company said its stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and will open for the holiday rush at 5 a.m. local time on Friday, Nov. 29.
Here's what shoppers need to know about Black Friday at Kohl's.
Kohl's Black Friday Early Access event
The company kicked off its deals Friday with the Kohl's Black Friday Early Access event.
The event runs through Sunday and is taking place both in store and online.
Offers include:
- 70% off select jewelry
- 50% off select toys
- Up to 50% off First Aid Beauty, Kiehls Since 1851, and Drybar
- 40% off holiday home decor
- 40% off Tek Gear and Adidas
- 50% off sleepwear
- 60% off jackets and coats
- 40-50% off party-ready clothing
The company is offering 15% off of qualifying purchases and shoppers can earn $15 Kohl’s Cash for every $50 spent Friday and $10 Kohl’s Cash for every $50 spent Saturday and Sunday.
Kohl's Black Friday week
Kohl's released its Black Friday flyer Friday, previewing deals available throughout what it is calling "Black Friday week" from Nov. 24-29.
All customers can take 15% off of qualifying purchases and customers can earn $15 Kohl’s Cash for every $50 spent throughout the week.
Black Friday sweepstakes
Kohl's said that it will give away more than $1 million in prizes on Black Friday.
The first 200 customers to visit a store before 8 a.m. local time will receive a game piece that will be redeemable for prizes, with the grand prize being a family beach vacation in Florida. The possible prizes include:
- Kohl’s Cash
- Sephora at Kohl’s gift cards
- LEGO
- Samsonite luggage
- Draper James holiday gift boxes
